. Almost 110 of the worst level crossings have been removed - fewer deaths, fewer traffic jams etc.
. SouthBank and Docklands now exist.
. Old King Coal power stations are being progressively retired as renewables and interconnectors with SA and Tassie turn Victoria green.
. Melbourne's sports and entertainment precincts are among the world's best.
. The new Melbourne Metro will soon be commissioned and revolutionise the CBD.
