I think Tango is very correct in saying you cannot assume all civil disorder follows the same set path. Take Somalia for example, their riot turned into a civil war which has been on going for the better part of 20 years. Sierra Leon? Sudan? Rwanda? Ethiopia? These are extreme examples but never say never, if anything Thailand was an exception to the rule in how unviolent their civil disorder was. Its a testament to their inherent peaceful nature as a people.
In no way do i think ADZ will cancel its operation, but i do think their is a fair chance of there being delays to spudding.
Believe101 it is in the middle of nowhere but its not the well itself im worried about, its the logistics that are most likely to be effected (getting people in and out, moving equipment around etc etc) this leads to delays in the project.
But remember Gulfsands and ADZ work in some pretty high tension environments (Iraq, Syria) so i have confidence they wont be scared off.
