According to the 20 Jan 2022 announcement the:
- Buyback price determination date was 3 March
- Settlement date 7 March

A professional LIC would have reported on the buyback price on 3rd or 4th March, the number of shares moving to FATP, and the FPC NTA post-buyback as there is a legal requirement to disclose material information as soon as available:

"ASX Listing Rule 3.1 Immediate notice of material information provides: “Once an entity is or becomes aware of any information concerning it that a reasonable person would expect to have a material effect on the price or value of the entity's securities, the entity must immediately tell ASX that information."

Of course, Fat Prophets are not a professional LIC and FPC investors are more likely to receive material info first on Hotcopper (e.g. buyback price) than via an ASX announcement.
