G'day X Heard it on a abc newsradio a couple of days ago re china having lots of cash and looking for resources. Also Jim Puplava was talking about the huge wads of foreign (US) cash the chinese have and their high and increasing commodity requirements, some talk of a take over of a major polymetallic producer in Canada. Jim's take was that by buying inground resources it doesn't push the price up too much and the choice of canada was due to stable govt and legal ownership systems. I guess this would apply equally to aus, not that I would like to see the chinese buying up heaps of aus co's. But what a perfect way to get rid of their US$ reserves. cheers Rod
