sure...you know how if you have an investment property (house or land) for over 12 months you only have to pay tax on 50% of your profit....for instance if i made a profit of $100,000 on a property if i held onto it for over 12 months i'd only have to pay income tax on $50,000...i'd get the other 50k gratis.
well its the same with shares....if i make 100k now i'll pay tax on the lot...if i wait over 12 months i'll only pay tax on 50k. if you're on a good stock like mak i reckon its worth the wait don't you?
