Its all rather strange really. Here we have an asset that USED to be the base for currency, that no longer is, but we buy it on the premise we are hedging against inflation and uncertainty, as currency. What difference if I gave you 10k in paper or 10k in bullion?..ewwwr..my head is gettin sore :(...an you don't have to answer that last bit :)
