Did a small trade a month ago and got a couple of bucks profit. It was a foolish trade and must stop drinking :-)

I long ago swore off precious metals because I know how badly it will end.

For sure, all bulls end badly.

It has been said that every time the US equity market makes a new high then you know a 50% decline is next.

That is a fact and history shows it.

Sadly PM's are even worse.

The problem is PM bulls finish in dramatic fashion and whether it is tomorrow or in 10 years, I can guarantee almost all investors end up losing money.

It isn't the early purchases that are the problem but adding late in the cycle that will kill them plus the buying they do on the "dips" when it is all over.

They will continue to buy as the bear takes hold and will be reinforced by the gurus telling them how cheap it is and getting cheaper.

Yeh, maybe it is different this time.
