This seller could actually even be someone bullish on gold and deciding to sell ABU for a higher cost more leveraged exposure. You can only guess the motives.
Again today the more leveraged producers are outperforming.
However if gold in AUD terms moves back up to its highs, ABU has all the leverage in the world with Buccaneers multi million ounce resource right next door to OP.
We will also have strong leverage with OP’s deeper resource. At the current sp there is no way any value is being given to underground mining and that should change with a higher POG so while the open pit has lower leverage to POG, ABU still offers strong leverage to POG through the OP underground resource and through Buccaneer.
