Alcoa have a 65% stake. If it looks like a commercial find and they want to reduce the associated costs they could farm out some of their holding. They are not proposing to take all the gas. They and SW WA urgently need more options for the supply of gas. Granted, the project will not be cash flow positive for some time, but if its a good discovery then they and everyone involved will be making money not losing it.
