The dems promised us that Trump would be impeached forever, that it would be too heavy a burden to carry to the next election, that he will have to stand down, or words to that effect.
How come no one mentions it now? My guess is that with the passing of time they see the stupidity of it and are happy to forget all about it. Like much of US history it has been erased.
