first I would ring the company and ask them their strategy for managing those huge environmental liabilities - from where I stand that is the only thing that could possibly bring them undone - also what are the terms of those obligation, that is when do they become due etc.

are there any environmental liabilities attached to non-core assets, and if so, how much does that total and what is their strategy in dealing with those environmental liabilities attached to non-core assets - and how long will that take to deal / manage them out / extinguish them

I could go on, but you get the picture.

Too many unknowns for me, that is the only reason I have kept away from them - everything else looks good to me though
