I was being facetious... You cannot have a decline in share price greater than 100%. If a share price falls by 100% it goes to $0.000.
There is no change in formula, it is always (Purchase - Current)/Purchase --> using your numbers its (11 - 3.7)/11 = 66.3%
Same thing, using imaginary numbers. If a share was purchased at $10 and currently trading at $5, it dropped by 50% not 100%.
