I used to trade futures, but have moved to spreads (similar to CFD's) because it's cheaper to get in, IG offer guaranteed stop losses, they have access to more markets via their online platform, you can trade shares, erm, they're just better. Oh and tax free for the time being until the gov gets wind of it.

Which ever way you go use a stop loss or you're in the poo.
