I back tested strategy of using a cross into the first or the fourth quartile to go short or long respectively - closing when it crossed out.
Effectively trend following.
Surprisingly profitable except with BHP where most of the move happens after hours (gaps are normal).
The exception though are choppy days like today - although it must be said it looks like a long at 12:40 - in hindsight would have been a good move. Problem is I was mentally expecting another down swing - mmmm might still get it.
