the late selloff just goes to remind me that the only reliable way to play the market lately is from extremes of ranges and avoid the middle bits like the plague.. this is a highly speculative market, where fading strength or weakness is probably as profitable for the big boy price makers as trend following, and the ensuing volatility certainly leads to a higher rate of transactions so the mms and exchanges love it.. and in between under the table Deep Pocket interventions and above the table liquidity injections and inflation and options expiry plays, I no longer have a sense of where value lies in this market.. and property is looking increasingly attractive for my cash... specially since I'm now in a period when I can't play the market all day..
my oscillator says spi is bouncing somewhat weakly off support after a kiss, but that volatility is increasing again..
