    When Mark notes 'Hard Coal'
the following link I believe explains the meaning quite well:

    http://coal.infomine.com/commodities/

    "" Anthracite

Sometimes called hard coal", anthracite was formed from bituminous coal when great pressures developed in folded rock strata during the creation of mountain ranges. Anthracite has the highest energy content of all coals. It contains 86 to 97% carbon, and has a heating value of nearly 15,000 Btus per pound. It is used for heating and generating electricity, and accounts for about 2% of the coal reserves in the United States. ""

It appears to be the best grade of coal available!
Please check ~ am I wrong?

    Bades well for our find.

Also, google 'www.tavantolgoi.mn' for the massive pit.
Click on the photo library. Think one will see roughly how deep 60metres is, gauging the side wall of pit compared to trucks, etc.
These guys have 'the biggest pit' in the world, i am led to believe.
I noted in the co info, that total coal thickness is 191 metres, made up of 16 (SIXTEEN) seams which total 74.9 metres!
    Just a gauge for us?
    DYOR.

Also noted that they have drilled to 635 metres. In time, wonder what BH analysis we can come up with over that sort of depth, given what the Team has so far :)

    Cheers :)
