So Germany, (via the the Free State of Saxony to be sure), being the third richest nation in the world by GDP, believes in the future prospects and benefits of CVac for the German people.
Believes enough to trump-up A$5.35 million.
If we already had enough money in the kitty to see us through Phase III trials, then we now have more than enough money to weather any unforeseen bumps in the road.
If Germany in this current global economic climate, and especially that which is besieging the EU, can still take the time to focus on Prima Biomed, and appreciate what it offers to future sufferers of ovarian cancer, then I think we can try and cool our jumpy heels, and realise that Yes, the fundamentals of CVac development are still solid, and in place.
Those fundamentals are so solid at the moment, that a superpower nation is prepared to throw down A$5.35 million to help assure our company's success.
This, quite simply, is called a vote of confidence.
And notice - this is a no strings attached grant - Germany just wants to ensure that CVac gets developed, and quickly, for use in Europe.
A very welcome announcement.
good luck
