There is an article in today's AFR about BBP's third write down...

There is an article in today's AFR about BBP's third write down since February this year. There were two points of interest in the whole article and they are as follows:

First of all BBP's CFO is quoted in the article as saying there is "still probably some bad news on the way."

Secondly the CFO also stated, without elaborating, that BBP was poised to make a significant announcement to the market at some stage over the next four weeks when it had to file its final earnings results.
