years ago, you could "predict" some major SPI futures bottoms by taking major ranges away from a projected future top of 3552 (3*1184). in those days, the SPI futures were based on the XAO instead of the XJO as they are now. i remember buying a massive gap down opening of 2210 which called a bottom. 3552-1342 = 2210 had meaning for some, 1342 being a yearly low somewhere in the distant past. some years later when the SPI got to 3552 for the first time, it blew the Gann practitioners out of the water. those without stops were given a good spanking .. all good clean fun.
i note 3552 is bang in the middle of your target range.
PS .. i don't follow Gann or EWT myself.
