Well I closed my shorts at a small loss just after the open today.
The gold action overnight convinced me that I didnt have the nerve to stick with the short.
However the way $30 is being defended I may have been right to go short - but its not worth sleepless nights.
I am now long - perhaps in for the long haul to $40.
