    I think with the state of this market, technicals go out the window. I remember how the market reacted to the war in Iraq. This is very similar, although from memory the falls weren't as sharp. The thing is, the war was there for everyone to see. In hindsight (of course) it wasn't really going to affect our economy too much. However, this subprime s h i t is scaring everyone. It is a lot closer to home than the war. It relates a lot more to our economy. Whenever we here a bank (anywhere in the world) get into trouble, we are going to see panic in the US markets. Personally, I just don't see this going away any time soon until we some some very positiive news re subprime in the US.

    PS. Who gave a rats about subprime a few months ago? Who knew what it was? We all do now.
