Making this big change clearly indicates their failure of FREE data with auto-renewal of 10$ per year strategy. I am one of the early adopters of X and I checked my email confirmation it clearly says I signed up for auto-renewal of my membership for 10$ per year.
As a happy customer I am feeling rigged and it is wrong to push the price from 10 to 130 within a year.
They need to have a pricing model for Businesses and a seperate cheaper for individuals.
Corporates can pay 130$/year given they can sign for N-employees and the data get shared between them while roaming.
Individuals would be happy for pay-as-you-go option and probably be happy with 10$ annual subscription for free-data.
Such a nice product but the execution is wrong. I am a very happy customer but as an investor not happy with the direction of the company.
