Good post finnaly some facts and no insults.  I can agree with most of this in general.  As I always have it is just certain other claims I have to take exception to.   As I have said before cost  is very important. Cost includes one time design in and recuring.  both of which  48 has the advatage in.    Will it over take high voltage.  I still doubt it. Toyota and Honda alone are already selling over 2M high voltage sytems a year.  I doubt it but I do not disagree with anyone who wants to say they will.  Time will tell.     One other fact.  In US Rebate system the rebate is bassed on battery bank size.  Most States follow the feds in this.   The rebate   will be small for 48 volts.   This would not influence me at all.  I look at what I get for the bottom line.   Lower cost lower rebate may give the best bottom line.      Many others make a big deal of this.   I like idea I can replace batery pack for 100s not 1000S.  I tend to keep cars a long time.
