warnie, you think its normal that 2 people need to work to buy a house? go back 6 years and it wasnt, 6 - 100 years ago it wasnt either!?!?!?!

so what your saying is you have to be in a perminant relation ship to buy property?

10% of the population are gay, then what percent dont get married or what percent are seperated and single?

regardless, why should housing cost $440,000 for something nice when it used to be $200K why? how do you justify the cost?

in another 10 years at this rate of climb you will need 4 people to pay of a house, how is that going to work?

oh and 30% deposit on $470K is $140K in cash you could buy a house for that 15 years ago, how rich do you think australians are????

and 5% home loans is a joke mate, the average over the last 40 years is about 9% almost double your figure, with it going up to 18% how can you just ignor that?

and who earns $1,400 a week net ???? most people i know earn under $60K, look at the jobs on seek and most are under $55K, most of the jobs in my suburb in all the different industrys are under $55K to get $65K you need to be supervisor level or manger, you were just saying the other day the median was $65K which is about $980 a week, so to say its now $1,400 did we just have a 40% pay rise in australia?

if you think the cost of housing is going to double again, suly just surly you must know in your mind how people are going to be able to pay this off? will two couples live in 1 house?
