Originally the deal was worth $6 Bill - based on 20 mtpa for 30 yrs. Then June 22 it was changed to 100mtpa max (Aust wide) for 50 yrs.
Maybe thats why the sp went nuts in June - the unexpected increase in time/tonnage (+IP)?
I "think" some have factored the extra time period + extra tonnage to arrive at $40 Bill.
Maybe its "a" reason why the sp is not reacting atm since the ann only mensioned 20mtpa/30 yrs. So, for now, we are back to the $6 Bill deal - which is fine by me! Get the 2mtpa plant going and alot of us will retire (some well before).
