one day we are going to get a pathogen where some similar very radical actions like you suggest would have been great and wise in hindsight



if you really wanted to take the safest route - then locking the gates is the only action to take ——- but, wow - closing Australia in and out

no government is going to do that and a ‘conservative’ government wouldn’t consider doing that in their wildest dreams


One day - we will have a devastating pandemic - but, my guess is that after that we will just go on as before - because we have had them before - yet - you still see people out in society coughing and spluttering

you even still see idiots taking their disease into the workplace - and you still see employers who are stupid enough to allow them to be there


With that level of dumb - no way will we ever slam boarders shut
