CMO now has his direct evidence, so, he now says 14-days self-imposed quarantine for people flying in who have been recently in Wuhan.

So, we now await the inevitable new case of an infected arrival who was not in Wuhan and the extension of that advice to travellers from that city, etc, etc.

Just cut to the chase mate - give the advice to everyone arriving from China.

The authorities need to abide by the old saying, 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'.

It's literally a 'deadly, infectious epidemic' with characteristics, that are authorities are struggling to reliably ascertain and which are liable to mutate anyway.

After all, in one week, our CMO has gone from don't worry it's not in Australia, not spreading between humans, it's not infectious in preclinical stage, to urgently asking the WHO about that, to admitting, in the face of incontrovertible evidence, that it certainly is infectious in preclinical stage.
