MI, I like the 'school prefect' analogy. We need leaders, but they can't lead because they aren't in charge.
I see them more as the 2nd rate union reps I've experienced. They pretend to be on your side but they are well paid in their role by management and spend more time socialising with them than the worker. Always trying to sell the worker what isn't good for him.
The pollies pretend to be here for us The People, but you know who really butters their bread when you see where they spend their time wining and dining. And once again, always trying to sell us what isn't good for us.
