EXPANSION OF TECHNICAL TEAM IN COMMERCIAL

PROCESS CHEMIST AND PRODUCTION TRANSITION MANAGER
Perth, WA and Greer, South Carolina, Alexium International Group Limited (Alexium)
(ASX:AJX, AX:AJX, OTC QX:AXXIY) announced today it is expanding its technical team to
respond to increased commercial interest and to accelerate the roll-out of Alexium treatments to
industrial partners.
Alexium has appointed Mr. David Lambert as a key technical member of our development team
and is also in the process of hiring additional laboratory support. Mr. Lambert is a seasoned and
highly versatile chemist with nearly 30 years of experience in the supervision, design,
development, manufacturing, product stewardship, application, and testing of products. Mr.
Lambert served the US military over 20 years and is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with vast
supervisory experience in Chemical Corps, Military Police and Air Defense.
In April of this year, Alexium announced that it had signed a letter of intent with Duro Textiles,
one of the United States’ largest dyers, printers, finishers and distributors of textile products, to
license Alexium’s flame retardant (FR) nylon treatment in a lucrative licensing deal in the North
American market. While Alexium and Duro are currently finalizing the formal agreement to
launch a number of new FR nylon fabrics in the next twelve months and are targeting a market
opportunity in excess of 4 million linear yards of nylon, Alexium is adding resources to
accelerate the commercial roll out of flame retardant textile products.
