Being educated does not equate with unbiasedness (if there is such a word). She is not among the "unwashed" masses, she is one of those brainwashing them ...

Below is an article from Channelnewsasia.com and here is a quote from a Rahiza Zulkifli

"Rahiza Zulkifli, a lawyer from Kuantan, said: "There are so many ways, 1,001 ways to stop something. This is just a tiny spec of actions, there will be many more to come if the prime minister does not listen to us." "

Malaysian court lifts suspension on Lynas Corp

KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian court has lifted the suspension on Lynas Corporation, paving the way for the Australian miner to begin operations at its US$800 million rare earths refinery.

But environmental activists and Gebeng Kuantan residents, particularly a group of mothers, are not giving up hope just yet.

It's not over till it's over.

Anguished mothers from the state capital of Pahang travelled more than 250 kilometres to Parliament to appeal to Prime Minister Najib Razak and lawmakers.

Among them is an 85-year-old grandmother, protesting in heavy rain.

Mdm N.M Chiok, a retired teacher from Kuantan, said: "We chose them because they have to represent our voice but they pretended they didn't hear anything at all, why? Are they deaf? Something's wrong with them. We are so sad and so angry, nobody heard our voice, they can't even hear our voice."

The mothers handed their petition to Parliament and pledged to stop Lynas from firing up its controversial rare earths plant at all cost.

Rahiza Zulkifli, a lawyer from Kuantan, said: "There are so many ways, 1,001 ways to stop something. This is just a tiny spec of actions, there will be many more to come if the prime minister does not listen to us."

But time is not on their side. The Kuantan court has lifted the suspension on Lynas, allowing the Australian miner to start operating its plant. This is despite the fact that the legality of the temporary operation licence is still being challenged in court.

The date for the judicial review has yet been set.

Anti-Lynas activists, including residents, have filed for an appeal while seeking a fresh interim injunction to stall the miner.

Meantime, Lynas shares gained 12 per cent, buoyed by the court's decision.

Its Malaysian managing director said they are now focused on bringing in the ore, and fire up the plant as soon as possible.

But they may have problems with that. The anti-Lynas movement is planning to march all the way from Kuantan to Kuala Lumpur next week, to rally support for a blockade at the Kuantan port.

The protesters hope this will pressure the prime minister to listen to their plea, ahead of crucial elections.
