    from what rebel1 has posted I can not work out how or what has been measured to come up with those numbers.
    The thing about billing issues is that there are so many variables to take into account to properly find the problem. That's why the more information, the better.

    Nor can I see it possible anyone being charged $3.08 per kiloWatt-hour(kWh) unless there is a computer program error that is miscalculating the bill.


    Yes, I agree with you about the fridges, they can consume an enormous amount of energy if not in perfect working order.
    Our fridge and freezer at home account for about a third of our electricity consumption, and they are in perfect working order.
