From an email from Medinat. It looks like everything went wrong.
I am not exactly sure he was setting up the other company at the same time. I understand he has an arrangement (partnership??) with another company who was already in the business of rapid tests (DOA and Infectious Disease). This occurred sometime after the closure of SBL.
Regarding SIYI I think it is far more complex that it appears. I fully understand that the Chinese like to take shortcuts and their quality control is abysmal at best. I would suggest that many of the issues that existed at that time were a result of the previous CEOs management. It was also common knowledge amongst the management team and some distributors that the OrlaineIV was not performing particularly well and was quite variable in quality. I lost a Government Police contract because in the demonstration to the Regional and Moscow Police heads, 6 Oraline testers in a row didnt work and the remaining 4 gave poor readings on THC and one was a false negative.
I think there is a lot more to the story in relations to management over a substantial period of time.
Regarding the Airmed marketing of Oraline, you may be aware that they purchased the majority of the stock on hand when Sun closed its doors.
Now we know what a mess
