2/.....and you can find a reference to the Kenny reef hit of 17608g/t on the website under : Exploration potential....then open up the "june 1998 morning star resource report" (bottom of page) & read page 5:.......

Stope and drill hole assays ranged from nil to >17,000 g/t Au. The actual reported grades were used in all calculations with no cutting. In the case of the 17,000 g/t sample over a 1.5cm quartz vein, the diluted grade was approximately 130g/t over a 2m mining width.



this assay is one of the 500+ diamond drillholes from the previous owner WMC(GMA), that are part of the 45,000 pages of archival records in the co's possession; of which only 45% has so far been interpreted.

another reference to the 17608g/t assay can be found in the announcment of 31 january,2008 (page 5).


Early indications suggest that the high grade intercepts listed above and the visible gold intercepts are likely to be two parallel reefs rather than one mineralised zone. The first reef is related to the extension of Whitelaws Floor (bulk samples and assays reported in the September 2007 Quarter at an average grade of 41.1g/t Au); the second reef is related to the 17,608g/t Au intercept in GMA-WMC hole 51 (intersected in the 1930’s).
