Are there any legal minds among us?

An informed opinion would be helpful, as it appears that an entirely innocent party is potentially at huge risk of massive damage.

Please NO uninformed speculation.

Would like to hear from CW,HM, or DEX though,as they appear to have a broad perspective, and I suspect wide experience.

I am extremely angry at this turn of events,NEVER thinking of getting out BUT thinking very much of getting even.
