However when 100x worth of paper trades which does not exist the fixed amount argument is no longer valid.

It is like Bernanke printing money. They have printed gold into an abundance with paper promises. Simply turn off the taps and watch Central banks panic... and they will.

Those that will panic most will be the ones holding paper promises knowing the gold pipeline is plugged.
