Thanks Club - Please do not confuse the period leading up to the depression with the depression itself 1930-1933.
I wrote nothing about the way we live, simply the reality of analysis of the numbers and writings leading up to this point in 2008 in comparison with historical numbers leading to 1929.
In my opinion (and I have been putting together various bits for nearly a year now) historical numbers look nearly the same as 1929... we may end looking more like the 70's (or something totally different). But I think we will be in a contractionary period for the better part of 3 years.
Nobody holds a crystal ball and let's pray to God that we do not end up in a "Great Depression" state of affairs.
