    Good to hear, re your reno's.
    They say, home is where the heart is.

    "Do you think it was ever in the plans that the crucifixion of Jesus would be the end of Jesus (death)?"

    Acts 2:24 - Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

    Col 1:18 - And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that in all things He may (to become - Inter) have the preeminence.

    John 3:14 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

    If we consider the Acts quote, it would appear that if Jesus had taken a different path, then God wouldn't have been beholding to raise him.
    Due to Jesus's quote in John, it would appear that the Father foreknew the end results, or may have predestined it and that info was passed on to Jesus.
    Or Jesus knew that if he didn't sin, then God was beholding to raise him.

    (I have not gotten onto the possible predestined subject and if it is the case, then that would also draw in the subject, free will or no free will, as God's will would be done...........off track here lol).

    "In the plans of God Jesus was never mortal."

    According to the scriptures and the following definitions, that is not correct. (technically if you like)

    Mortal ->
    (of a living human being, often in contrast to a divine being) subject to death:
    Immortal -> living forever; never dying or decaying:

    Heb 2:9 - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

    1 Cor 15:53 - For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

    There is absolutely nothing here (Heb 2:9) to suggest, he was made lower (reduced) from something higher beforehand, so we cannot ADD that notion.
    The making here, is his first all time beginnings, as per the Luke opener account, made by the word and power of the God and Father.
    And because the word and power came down and made him, he is deemed as heavenly, not made of dust, earthly, 2nd Adam Man.
