In 2013 because the State govt kept shifting the goal posts, on CSG, the Mel board decided to suspend all operations to conserve cash. Some shareholders felt that they should have put CSG on the backburner and just focus on conventional gas.
We shareholders were not happy with Mels direction and actually put it to the vote, to get rid of the current board and bring back the old. The new board was brought in to take Mel from an explorer to a producer. Unfortunately, when PH became the CEO of Mel, that is when the anti fossil fuel activists, started their cam p aign in the NR. And since then it has been nothing but groundhog day for long suffering Aussie mum and dad shareholders that have had their retirement funds decimated by the anti fossil fuel activists and State Govt policies on the run.
