Potential acquirer first wrote to WCL on 20th Jan 2012 Westside Board said in a reply to an ASX continuous disclosure request.
Of course this was initially LNG but on behalf of Petro no doubt and funny thing is LNG has not as yet formally said they are not going to pursue this road which needs to be addressed IMo or does the below officially call off their approach?? Associates is interesting though!!

In the interest of clarity, and to dispel any market speculation, we advise that the Company is not the party referred to in WestSide’s ASX release.
As previously announced, the Company and its associates have been undertaking due diligence of WestSide in relation to a potential transaction. However, the Company has not directly submitted a takeover offer to WestSide and has no intention to do so.

SP still continues to slip!! Not a good look Imo.
