Bought cxo a year ago and got myself onto HC around the same time because I heard its a good learning place. I haven't seen any remarks with racist elements in HC till now, so that was a bit of a shock. English is also not my first language but I try to make an effort. I can speak 3 languages (English, Malay and Mandarin) plus 2 more dialects (Cantonese and Hockien) but I am not so full of myself that I go and comment on other people language proficiency. When users uses their own language, small circle of groups and barriers on HC will form and defeat the purpose of HC.
