In years gone by we believed all kinds of nonsense, to the point of sending our best and bravest to fight and die in wars that had nothing to do with us and only furthered the agenda of said psychopaths. But in years gone by we could excuse people who were deceived because they simply didn't have access to the information that could have led them to the truth and maybe saved their lives in the process. People can no longer use that excuse as everything we need to know is right out in the open and all we have to do is look at it. Problem is most people prefer to live in their controlled and curated imaginations, the cultural myths and lies we were all indoctrinated with because they feel secure in believing those lies and in the false-assurance that because 'everyone believes' the same things that they must be true. And shun the heretics who say otherwise of course.
