Just arrived in China 2 days ago and needed adsl connected.
My wife ring China Telecom and spoke to a "person" directly.
In 10 minutes my Broadband was connected.
Today the company rang back to see if everything was ok.

Got my Telstra Bigpond torn up by them and they give me $239 credit for stuffing me around.
I had 17 months left on my contract and the fee was waivered also.
The poor girl on the other line kept apologising.
