Interesting article from Sneesby. Pretty clear from that they are not interested in Quickflix's platform since all the branding of their applications and websites are complete. Also said that the major cost is the content. Looks like they're going all out and it looks more and more likely there's a lot more involved in the HBO/Streamco preference share transaction. Just leaves the client base as the reason for a potential takeover and if that's the case then it may make sense why they haven't made a move yet as this would be more likely to happen closer to Streamco release. By the sounds of it though I don't think it will be too long before they exceed Quickflix's customer base and I certainly don't think they'll pay up to 2 years per customer (on the basis of a 2c takeover offer). I think Quickflix's days are numbered and there's not a whole lot of upside left even if a takeover were to eventuate.
