While I dont support the stoning of women, and I do concede this poor chappy is being unduly harshly dealt with for his wife's sins, may I point out that Saudi is one of the few places in the world where you can leave your keys in the car with no worries about having it nicked.....and car thieves dont re-offend because they have their hands chopped off.
Here in Australia, hoods with 400+ convictions for car theft get community service orders,and one young chap I read about stole a car to go to court.
Just one GOOD aspect of Islamic Law.
