100%. there is no way yes voters can guarantee they wont push extreme policies like change the date. They will just say that Australia Day is deeply painful and bla bla. Any MP that is against changing the date will get called out for being racists and such and that's a big no no so most likely they will agree to some extreme policies, and voila a body nobody is able to vote out makes policies affecting everyone
