MAUL is a done deal bcs SOCOM wants it 2-Feb-11 08:35 am Do I have to remind everyone here that the Department of the Navy initiated the development of MAUL because there was a need for it? I happen to know MAUL has passed at least threshold, as well as objective certification for all test criteria. It has also passed some very challenging over pressure tests, including firing of fifth round first test. I also happen to know of a document in the public domain that describes the use of MAUL in tactical scenarios. Does anyone seriously believe this weapon won't be bought in large numbers?
