    On December 19, 2005 Dr Unterweger said this

    QuikTrak would also be able to plan for a complete coverage of China, as the central Government has granted the company a slice of its military radio spectrum.

    "That's a major benefit," Dr Unterweger said. "It's military spectrum so there is no 'noise' in it, and that makes a huge difference in how far you can throw a signal."

    Now In April 2006 Quiktrak say this.

    "It was anticipated that supply of the ordered transponders would commence shortly thereafter but delays have been experienced in clearing the frequency of other users to enable China Alarm to complete all regulatory approvals and commence operations."

    ======

    It does appear that the China deal has fallen through and that is why QTK are trying to set up South Africa so fast, in the hope of stopping investors jumping ship once the truth comes out ?
    QTK management must think investors have short memories to use the lame excuse of "clearing the frequency of other users" when they previously stated the military spectrum had "no noise in it."
