I don’t agree, honestly. Corruption and crime needs to be called out for what it is and tackled head-on whether the perpetrator is a pauper or a president. Otherwise you just perpetuate the “one rule for us, one rule for them” mentality and embolden the next lot to get away with even more. Do you honestly think Trump and his cronies care if they’re voted out? They’ve been raping the treasury to line their own pockets since day one, and I’m sure most of them would be perfectly happy to fade into the shadows with their stolen wealth.
