this is just beyond silly!

Wow....the fall today in the market is beyond silly!

Let’s keep some perspective here..

Paladin is the largest Australian Uranium Miner........it supplies around 4% of the world's mined uranium right now and is the 8th largest Uranium producer in the world

if you just mentally block the high PDN hit in March 2007 ($10.80)......it is still down 80% from just 2011...

Total Market cap right now is $850m.....

But amongst their liquid investments they have own 23.4% of DYL ( total mkt cap $82M....PDN share ...$19m) & 82% of SMM ( total market cap $320M....pdn share $262m).......so theoretically if they wanted too they could free up this $282M cash very soon....

PLUS they have a massive exploration portfolio ( will sites in Canada and all over Australia...)

Why is it down so much? Shorters having a field day with it......they are targeting it because of its debt and profit situation......

But most of its debt is convertible into equity at a later date......

and on the profit situation.....because the current spot price for U is around $42.......whilst their cost of production in Namibia is under $30......Malawi is around $43.... its not making much money right now.....BUT....everyone knows that the spot price will recover and gain through this year as

1) Japanese reactors come back online
2) US – Russian treaty finishes ( taking off 15% of supply)
3) and countless new reactors keep getting built all over the world!

i'm buying for the long term in this low!
