He's good at thinking on his feet - he got onto "maybe thinking about a alternative energy car" but then said they weren't available through the parliamentary car scheme. Right on cue Lyn Allison rang through to tell everyone she was on her fourth such car. Rudd was really struggling then - it's a minor issue really but he was made to look a bit silly. The whole interview was too hard for him.
